This is just a simple photo of a train at a train This is just a simple photo of a train at a train station (Essen main station). However, what I like about that perspective are the lines on the bottom as well as the pattern of the ceiling. Additionally, I liked the black sky and the other platform on the left side.

As for colour, I experimented a bit and liked the combination of the three dominant colours. I did a lot in post, even though I didn't really plan to do much or even just delete the photo, because of it's simpleness. But then, I like being simple and trying to get something more out of it.

Besides removing a lot of things, I also added an additional glow in Photoshop in different colours at specific areas (colour equals the colour of the lights).

It was fun editing this photo because I had a totally different look initially and just couldn't decide what to chose, what to do with it, and overall I just enjoy trying new things out. So should you! 🙂

Hope you like it! ☺️

There was this short period of time where no one w There was this short period of time where no one was there (at 9 PM), so I took the chance and took a quick photo of the stairway.

As you can see, a few lights were broken, so I had to fix some up. I basically duplicated one side, removed the top light, and added one light. I also cropped in a little bit to have lesser dark space on the bottom.

For some reason I liked the white lights on the sides so I left them that way. It kind of adds to the contrast of the photo to me. How do you like it?

I liked the "leading line"-type it represents to me. In post I removed a few spots and changed the location of the emergency exit sign. I felt that it was a bit too high, so I lowered it's position. I also removed the security camera and changed the lighting of the two snack machines.

Good evening fam! At least at the moment of publis Good evening fam! At least at the moment of publishing this post it is seven p.m. here :D.

The colours of the photo remind me a little bit of a military macaw. But that's a different story :D.

This is an old photo but a new edit. I didn't do that much to it. I edited and adjusted the colours in Lightroom and then removed very few spots in Photoshop. I also added that glow on the left side as well as the reflection on the bottom in Photoshop. Quick little process :).

Sup fam! This is an older photo which I previously Sup fam! This is an older photo which I previously already posted. Here I applied one of my cyberpunk presets and thought that the results were pretty! What I also did was duplicating one side as you can see in the before photos. I also have a short guide on that if you are curious about that technique 🙂.

I took around 50 photos on my last photo walk in Bochum and wasn't really happy with the results. Some overexposed, some too blurry, some really just ugly. In the end, I I really liked two photos. Since I don't want to overclutter my drive, even though I have lots of space left, I decided to get rid of all the photos, which I don't intend to use anyways. I stopped by this photo because I remember that person walking through the shot and thought that was kinda cool. I just didn't consider that photo to be "editworthy" for some reason. For some other reason I then did. And so I decided to edit that photo. I just wished she would have been sharp, but that's just the name of the game.

-- Some insight of the editing process --
Even though I did use a diffusionfilter to have those blooming lights, still recreated a bloom effect in Photoshop which I learned from @zk.xyz! Go check out his account if you want to learn how ☺️.

After I found my overall look that I desired in Lightroom, I continued to edit in Photoshop by adding that purple bloom, as well as adding the lightbeams on the ceiling. I copied that ceiling-layer and flipped it vertically to place it on the ground. That way I created a reflection of the light. I also added blue light on the persons head and shoulders (pun intended) to have that ceiling light shine on her.

As usual, I also removed a few spots here and there, especially on the walls and on the ground.
-
I spent way too long on this photo and at some point overedited it :D. There is something very interesting about cinematic colours and complimentary colours to me that I really need and want to dig into that further.

Anyways, long talk or rather text, hope you like the result. Let me know in the comments (blabla) :D.
